The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
V. E. Schwab
For Chapter One, we’re beginning with a story about memory, identity, love, and what it means to leave your mark on the world. As you read, think about the ways Addie experiences freedom, loneliness, time, and the desire to be remembered.

How it works
Get the Pick
Each month, Crescent Chapter will select one book for us to read together. Our next selection will be announced after each meeting, giving everyone plenty of time to find a copy and start reading.
Read at Your Pace
Purchase your copy through Crescent Chapter’s Bookshop page, or pick one up from us in person at a pop-up. Read at your own pace, and don’t worry if you don’t finish every last page.
Meet at Odyssey
For Chapter One, we’ll meet Thursday, November 19 at 6:30 PM at Odyssey Bottle Shop in Charleston. Grab a drink, find your seat, and settle in for a night of bookish conversation.
Say Your Piece
Book Club is free to attend, but an RSVP is required. Come ready to share what you loved, what you didn’t, and everything in between. And yes — you’re still welcome if you didn’t finish the book.
Save me a seat
Leave your name and email to reserve your seat for Chapter One. Our gatherings are intentionally small, and only 15 seats are available.
Book club only — we will not add you to the shop newsletter.
